Hemric Fastest in XFINITY Happy Hour at Fontana

Daniel Hemric paced final practice for the NASCAR XFINITY Series Roseanne 300 at Auto Club Speedway. Hemric ran a lap in 40.262 seconds, with an average speed of 178.829 MPH. Joey Logano and John Hunter Nemechek each trailed him by about a tenth of a second.

Early on in the session, Brandon Jones spun, bringing out the red flag. About 15 minutes into the session, Matt Tifft slapped the wall. The incident didn’t halt the session, but it would send Tifft to the garage for repairs. Jeff Green did not run a lap in the session.

Qualifying for the NASCAR XFINITY Series Roseanne 300 at Auto Club Speedway will take place at 1:30 PM eastern time on Saturday, and the race will take place at 5 PM eastern time.
