Cup and Truck Races Pushed to Monday

The Cup series STP 500 and Truck series Alpha Energy Resources 250 at Martinsville Speedway have been postponed to Monday in the wake of a snowstorm that took place Saturday afternoon and night. Track officials elected to use resources to recover from the storm rather than for the race. The track property doesn’t look too great either, although the track looks dry.

The STP 500 will take place at 2 PM eastern, while the Alpha Energy Resources 250 will resume at 11 AM eastern.

The Truck race was scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon, but only 23 laps were able to be completed before weather stopped the race. The Cup race has not begun. Below is the current running order of the Alpha Energy Resources 250 at Martinsville Speedway.
